Plan of Salvation

Human Sin ---------- Romans 5:12, Romans 3:23

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Man's Condition Without God --- Ephesians 2:12

In those days you were living apart from Christ. You were excluded from God's people, Israel, and you did not know the promises God had made to them. You lived in this world without God and without hope.

Sin's Penalty ---------- Romans 6:23; 2 Corinthians 5:21

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God’s Provision:…….. John 3:16-18

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:6,8) 2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. NKJV

 Response of Faith:……….Romans 10:9-11

But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast.

Christian Reasonable Service:.....Romans 12:1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. NKJV
To be born again is a wonderful experience. We are recreated beings having Zoe –God kind of Life. The Scripture says, “Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.” 1 Peter 1:23
When a man is born again, his spirit is recreated. Into his spirit has come the nature of the Father, but his mind is still the old mind that received its education through the senses. The mind is governed by sense knowledge of the world (this age) The mind is world-ruled. It cannot seem to grasp the spiritual things. 1 Corinthians 2:14 says, “But the natural man (mind) does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (understood).” NKJV

The natural mind or non-spiritual man can understand the material things but it cannot grasp spiritual things. There are two important things to notice in Romans Chapter Twelve, Verses one and two (Romans 12:1-2). Renewing the Mind and controlling the body. God want us to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to Him. He said, Don’t let the world around you squeeze you into its own mold, but let God remake you so that your whole attitude is changed…Thus you will prove in practice that the will of God is good, acceptable to him, and perfect.(Phillips Translation)

There are 3 different Wills of the Father. The “Good Will; the Acceptable Will and the Perfect Will.” Anything that is acceptable is well pleasant and the word perfect means best. For every life there is a good will, a well-pleasant Will, and His best will – the perfect will. You can only prove that good, acceptable, and perfect, will of God when you have a renewed mind. Dr. Jerry Savelle said, “A prosperous Soul is the one in which the mind is renewed, the will is conformed, the emotions controlled, and the thinking faculties selective of that which it thinks.” “The condition of the body will be a revelation of the attitude of mind.” - John G. Lake

3 John 2 says, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” It is true that God has a big plan for your life. For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11) “It is a spiritual progression of events that Christians should prosper and be in good health even as our souls prosper. The same God who causes us to prosper spiritually causes us to prosper physically and financially. The concept is as your soul, which literally means in proportion.” The reasons why some people grow in grace so much rapidly and why the Bible became such an open revelation to them than others is not as a result of their prayers, surrender, and consecration, or through some new unusual experience. All these are necessary in Christian’s life. The only solution to the problem is the revelation word that was given to Apostle Paul written in the book of Romans. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:1-2)

Your health and prosperity are governed by the condition of your soul. It is impossible for your health and prosperity to exceed the condition of your soul. You may know the will of God for your life, but the condition of your soul will determine what you experience life. It is true that God said in His Word that all of His promises are for you, It is true that the Bible says, “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us” (2 Corinthians 1:20), but the condition of your soul will actually determine if you experience those promises. You can know the truth in your spirit, but if you’re not convinced of it in your soul, you will not operate in it because the decisions of life are made in the soul. “Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for; it is a thing to be achieved.” – William Jennings Bryan
